About me
Melissa Long holds a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development with a K-6 certification from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. She is a National Board Certified Teacher and has a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She has been an educator for 27 years and has spent 25 of those years teaching kindergarten in Johnston and Wake counties. She has a passion for play-based learning and works to make school fun and engaging for her students. She and her family live in nearby Clayton, NC.
