About me
Melinda El Hicheri is a National Board Certified kindergarten teacher with 23 years of experience. A North Carolina native, she taught in Lee County for 5 years before joining Wake County Public Schools. She currently teaches at Sycamore Creek Elementary, but also occasionally works with the WCPSS Math Department to create digital math resources and supports. Melinda had a love for math beginning at a very early age and hopes to develop that same love in her students. She believes that with just a little enthusiasm, you can help your students academically thrive and enjoy doing difficult things... even in math.
