About me
Hi my name is Nikki Parker and I am a North Carolina native, born and raised in Raleigh! I am mom of 2, the youngest being a recent high school graduate headed to the University of Nevada Reno AND I have a 4 year old granddaughter who will be off to kindergarten in August. Currently I am a 5th grade math teacher with Wake County Public School System. I am also a current North Carolina State University Graduate student in the college of education. In my 9 year teaching career I have taught 2nd, 4th, 5th and even taught internationally. I have found teaching to be challenging but very rewarding and I look forward to sharing a bit about what gets me excited about teaching math to my students.
