About me
Christie is a K-5 Math Teaching and Learning Specialist with Johnston County Public Schools where she supports teachers with math professional development and curriculum implementation. She has been in public education for 26 years as a classroom teacher, an instructional coach, and a district specialist. She received her B.A. degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Meredith College, and a M.S.A. from UNC. She is a National Board Certified Teacher and holds licenses in Elementary Education (K-6), Reading (K-12), Academically and Intellectually Gifted Education (K-12), and Principal (K-12).
