About me

I am a math educator with 29 years of experience teaching mathematics grades 6 through 12. I currently work with Johnston County Public Schools as a Middle Grades Math Teaching and Learning Specialist supporting about 94 middle school math teachers. I have a B.A. in Mathematics with teacher certification from UNCW, a K-12 Academically or Intellectually Gifted licensure, and a Master of Education degree in Middle Grades and Secondary Education from UNCC. I am passionate about extending student learning through engaging, collaborative, productive math tasks!
