Rough Draft Math: Encouraging Student Thinking and Revision in the Math Classroom

Discover the power of rough draft thinking in the math classroom. This session introduces the key ideas behindRough Draft Math and explores how creating a culture of revision can deepen student understanding and engagement. Participants will learn and practice strategies for encouraging student thinking, sharing, and refining ideas during math discussions. Real classroom tasks will be used to model these strategies in action. Plus, don’t miss the chance to win a copy of the book in our session raffle!
