Educators will participate in hands-on exercises, collaborate in small group discussions, analyze case studies, and explore practical strategies for integrating MLRs into their teaching practices. Through this dynamic and engaging session, participants will leave with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively support all students in mastering math concepts using MLRs. Come see how you can implement math language routines into your classroom with lots of great resources!

I have worked in Wake County for 23 years as a teacher, teacher trainer, and most recently as the Senior Administrator for middle and elementary mathematics. I have a passion for quality math instruction, engaging tasks, and igniting the love of learning in our students!

Coordinating Teacher, Wake County

I have worked in Wake County for the last 18 years, both in elementary and middle schools! My background is math and I love finding new and creative ways to get students engaged!
