Do the typical rate of change math tasks prepare students to apply their skills in today’s industry? Do we teach rate of change so students can transfer their knowledge to related workplace scenarios? Come experience four different industry applications that apply rate of change knowledge and critical thinking to solve actual industry problems. Related fields are Clean in Place Systems, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Road Design Superelevation, and Murder Investigation. These scenarios result from various Grant Funded Projects and are classroom ready for usage.
